Discovering Umbria

Food and art are closely bounded in Italian cultural history. Umbria has a unique landscape to discover. Small historical towns like Assisi, Perugia, Montefalco, Spello or Bevagna are perfect itineraries for short distance trips from Torgiano and the big art cities of Florence, Siena and Roma are only two hours away.  The region hosts many food festivals like the Perugia Eurochocolate in October, or the Foligno Primi d’Italia in September, completely dedicated to pasta. But the choices are many. The worldly known Umbria Jazz in Perugia and the Spoleto Festival of music, arts and dance are the perfect moments to see international musicians and artists performing in the medieval piazzas and gardens of these historical towns in a unique atmosphere.
