LIGHT PROGRAM (3 DAYS)

Discover Italian cuisine, top quality food and wine artisanal productions and art treasures through a cooking course on Italian haute cuisine, field trips to the producers with food and wine demonstrations, tastings of the best Italian delicacies and visits of the Italian art beauties.

DAY ONE

(Morning)

  • Extra-virgin olive oil: discovering the history Italian “green gold”. Visit of the Olive and Oil Museum of Torgiano (MOO)
  • Extra-virgin olive oil: tasting a top quality Italian production. Guided visit of an olive mill, guide of the olive oil making, from the harvest to the olive pressure in the mill. Olive oil tasting: the different cultivars.
  • Light lunch at Le Melograne Restaurant of the Resort le Tre Vaselle.

(Afternoon)

  • Cooking course. Haute Italian Cuisine through master Gualtiero Marchesi’s signature dishes.

The famous gold leaf saffron risotto, the black squid in its ink souse, the dripping of fish or the open ravioli: the chefs of ALMA, The International School of Italian Cuisine will guide participants into the preparation of these four amazing classics invented by the master of Italian cuisine.

DAY TWO

 (Morning)

  • The millenary history of wine production. Visit of the Wine Museum of Torgiano (MUVIT).
  • Top quality Italian Wines. Visit of the Lungarotti Wineries. Discovering the different steps of wine production. Wine tasting.
  • Light lunch at Le Melograne Restaurant of the Resort le Tre Vaselle.

 (Afternoon)

  • Italian panino session. A chef demo to discover an Italian classic food “around the clock”, though regional recipes and food delicacies characterizing it, from the different kinds of breads and focacce (flatbreads) to the endless cured meats and cheeses, souses and vegetables used.
  • Tasting brunch

DAY THREE

 (Morning)

  • Art beauties. Guided tour of the historical city of Perugia.
  • Light lunch in Perugia

(Afternoon)

  • Arts and crafts: the art of making chocolate. Visit of the Perugina Chocolate Factory and Museum. The history of cocoa production and chocolate making.
  • Cooking course: working chocolate and making chocolate candies
  • Italian Michelin starred chefs: fine dining experience at a Michelin starred restaurant
